London Borough of Hackney Council is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Inpatient service. This role will focus on undertaking Best Interest Assessments and providing specialist occupational therapy within general medicine, including equipment and adaptations, to support patient recovery and independence.
Undertake Best Interest Assessments in line with statutory requirements
Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adult inpatients
Deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes to support functional recovery and independence
Recommend and facilitate appropriate equipment and adaptations to promote safe daily living
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
Support patients and families with guidance, education, and practical advice to optimise outcomes
