As an Occupational Therapist with Doncaster Borough Council, you will provide specialist assessment and intervention for adults in community settings. You will support safe moving and handling, recommend and implement equipment and adaptations, and work closely with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to promote independence and improve quality of life.
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for adults in community settings.
Develop and implement personalised intervention plans, including equipment and adaptations to support independence.
Provide guidance and support for safe moving and handling practices.
Collaborate with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in accordance with professional and council standards.
Contribute to service development, quality improvement and multidisciplinary team initiatives.
