Job Details:
Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Promoting Independence Team. This is a fast-paced role, working closely with the Reablement Service to support people in achieving their goals and maximising independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out comprehensive assessments to identify needs.
Provide advice and interventions in moving and handling.
Arrange and manage major and minor adaptations.
Work collaboratively with the Reablement Team to support independence.
Promote dignity, choice, and independence in all service users.
Essential Requirements:
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
Strong experience in community reablement.
Knowledge of equipment provision, adaptations, and moving & handling.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.
