Provide specialist occupational therapy assessments, interventions, care planning, and reviews for a caseload of 12–15 patients at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
Supervise and delegate rehabilitation and care tasks to Rehab Support Workers (RSWs) and Senior RSWs, ensuring safe and effective practice.
Deliver intensive short-term support and rehabilitation programmes to adults and older people, facilitating early discharge, promoting independence, and reducing reliance on long-term care.
Collaborate with health and social care professionals, voluntary agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualised, high-quality care.
Support the development of the service, participating in flexible working across a seven-day week, including weekday and weekend on-call shifts.
Mentor, precept, and provide educational support to students, junior staff, and new team members; locum Band 6 role, starting ASAP for 2 months, HCPC registered, EPIC trained.
