Provide advanced occupational therapy services on acute wards and ICU at Barts – Newham Hospital, supporting patient recovery and early rehabilitation.
Lead discharge planning for complex patients, ensuring safe and effective transitions of care.
Manage and prioritise complex caseloads, providing guidance and support to the wider multidisciplinary team.
Supervise and mentor students and junior staff, supporting professional development and skill acquisition.
Apply clinical reasoning and expertise to assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation interventions for patients with complex needs.
Locum Band 7 role, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, ongoing contract; experience in acute hospital wards, ICU, and discharge planning essential.
