Provide occupational therapy interventions within the Reablement service for older adults and individuals with physical disabilities in the London Borough of Newham.
Support Reablement Officers with complex cases, setting and monitoring Reablement goals and strategies.
Assess and recommend complex equipment and adaptations beyond the standard TA role to promote independence and safety.
Lead on progressing adaptations and support Reablement Officers in implementing appropriate modifications.
Deliver on-the-job training and competency assessments for Reablement Officers working towards Level 3 TA qualifications.
Confidently make recommendations for Social Care packages from Domiciliary Health Care reviews, utilising safe assisting and moving skills; locum role with ongoing contract.
