Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Band 6 Area: Bristol NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Reablement Team. Occupational Therapist required to cover vacancy. Dynamic, experienced OT required who will be able to compliment the services provided. The post holder will be working with OT, PT’s, TAPS (Therapy Assistant Practitioners) & RTW’s (Rehab Therapy Workers). The services the team provide are:- • D2A (discharge to assess) where we facilitate discharges from acute and community hospitals. • Admission Avoidance (with 48 hours) to prevent admission to hospitals. • Planned therapy. This is a fast-paced service with a short length of stay and the overall aim is to provide a period of assessment to establish rehab goals and /or assess long term care needs. To accomplish this, the team have some in house capacity for functional daily rehab visits but can also work alongside the supporting services when external care is required.
