Skills/experience: At least 2 years’ Neurological OT experience (ideally Stroke). Conduct comprehensive assessments, intervention and discharge planning for patients with complex cognitive, physical, sensory, and perceptual difficulties following an Acute Stroke. The postholder will likely be set between working on the acute stroke ward, outlier wards as well as ED; therefore, they need to be confident & competent to work alone. The team work closely with Physiotherapists & Speech Language Therapists, therefore having someone who understands the importance & value of working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team is crucial.
