Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist Area: South East London Social Services Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Occupational Therapist required. Children’s Occupational Therapy Social Care professional home assessments and interventions within legislation, RCOT and HCPC practice requirements. Comprehensive functional assessments and interventions, including specialist equipment, adaptations, home safety and moving & handling provisions. Working in a Social Care setting with children with additional needs. Multi-agency / partnership / consultative working and carrying out lone assessments in clients’ homes, including safeguarding duties. Major and minor adaptation recommendations and joint working with the Adaptations team. Moving and handling equipment and plan provisions. Specialist home assistive equipment assessments, recommendations and provisions. Liaison between Health, Social Care, Housing and Voluntary services. Duty Children’s OT cover as required.
