Job Title: Neuro Occupational Therapist – Band 6 or 7 (but may be on less hours) Area: Surrey NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Assessment & treatment / intervention of patients with Neurological conditions in the community setting. Car driver with car desirable. Candidates will need – Essential:
• The candidate must have good experience working with patients with neurological conditions including stroke, head injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis & progressive conditions.
• The candidate will need experience in rehabilitation and the management of long term conditions.
• Community experience
• Experience working with adults & older adults
• MDT working
• Ability to complete the required number of community visits around the borough of Sutton, South West London
Desirable:
• EMIS trained & have a NHS SMART card
• Car driver & car that can use for this post. Seeing patients with a Sutton GP, both in their own home, care homes & in the community as required
Working hours: Mon- Fri; excluding bank holidays, 35 hours per week, typically 8.30-16.00. Code: U.014001.BE13264
