Job Title: Clinical Community Occupational Therapist – Band 6 Area: Kent NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Clinical Community Occupational Therapist required for 4 months, to undertake home visits.
To provide an evidence-based assessment, treatment and advisory service to clients with progressive and sudden-onset neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, MS, MND, spinal cord injury. ·
To work flexibly with all other members of the team to provide an integrated rehabilitation and support service to patients in accordance with the philosophy and operational policies of the team.
To manage a complex caseload using evidence-based clinical reasoning, critical thinking, reflection and analysis to support assessments using a client centred, goal-orientated rehabilitation programme.
To participate in continuous professional development, education and training, audit and research projects.
Recognised OT degree Registered with HCPC Preferably post registration neuro experience, including cognitive rehab Experience of working in MDT Good time management and prioritisations skills
Must be a Car driver
Working hours: 3 days per week. Any availability Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 18.00. Can be flexible with working pattern. Code: U.030009.B13116
