Job Title:  Occupational Therapist (2 roles – Part time and Full time)
Location:  Therapy Links – Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham, Greenwich and Bexley/Bromley
Area:  South London / Kent Private
Salary: £negotiable
Job Type: Locum/Permanent
Contract length: Ongoing 
Job details: 2x creative, dedicated Occupational Therapists required to join the team. The roles will involve weekly support in designated specialist and mainstream educational settings supporting children and people with social, emotional and mental health needs, autism and other neurodevelopmental needs.  The post-holders will be well supported by the Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist. To work predominantly in schools-based service covering mainstream and specialist provisions across South London and into Kent. JD available on request:

  • To provide an occupational therapy service to identified educational settings commissioning support from Therapy Links UK with appropriate support and supervision.
  • To provide supervision, teaching and appraisal of student occupational therapists and other members of the multidisciplinary team to include multitherapy assistants.
  • To contribute to the development of Therapy Links UK Occupational Therapy offer alongside the other Occupational Therapists, the Clinical Lead therapists and the wider TLUK team.
  • To effectively implement evidence-based models of care, and approaches to intervention with a focus on outcomes and impact.
  • To provide specialist training to education staff and other professionals
  • To work seamlessly and collaboratively as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team contributing to overall team objectives and service development initiatives, leading on service development projects where applicable

Working hours: Part time role: 3.5 days per week ideally but some flexibility. And Full time role. Term time only considered.
