Job Title: Occupational Therapist Location: Eastbourne – Milton Grange Area: East Sussex Social Services Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract Length: Ongoing Job details: Occupational Therapist required for 37 bedded unit where adults come for a period of rehabilitation to gain independence and function to return safely home. The Occupational therapist will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to assess client’s current function and work with others to provide rehabilitation and safe and timely discharge planning to enable clients to regain independence and safely return home. They will need to undertake environmental access visits to assess the client’s home, so a car driver is preferred. There are 27 generic beds and 10 dementia care beds. The post holder will have a caseload and will be able to work with the MDT. The therapy team consists of OT's, Physio's and Therapy assistants.
