Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Band 6 Location: East London Foundation Trust – Grove View, Court Drive, Dunstable Area: East London NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Community Occupational Therapy. To support clients in their own homes with either short- or long-term conditions, promoting their independence and safety at home, whilst preventing unnecessary hospital admissions. / Provide appropriate equipment, having completed risk assessments / Ensure Systm1 is kept up to date with all documentations in a 24-hour period of the assessments taking place. / Support the Assistant Practitioners with joint visits. / Hold a caseload, with the expectation of a minimum of 3 visits per day. / Supporting the rest of the Community Occupational Therapy Team with clinical oversight. / Attend appropriate meetings/in-service training sessions as appropriate / To escalate concerns as and when they occur. / To support the Team Lead and Service Manager as requested.
