Job Title: Occupational therapist/Physiotherapist – Band 6 Area: Sussex NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract Length: Ongoing Job details: Physiotherapist/Occupational therapist required for 4 weeks. Hospital Rapid Discharge Team. Skills/experience: Degree/Masters in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy. Hold a current HCPC registration.
To have experience at B6 level within an A&E environment.
To be able to independently assess, treat, advise, and discharge patients to an appropriate setting.
To have excellent communication skills within your team and the MDT.
To have knowledge of A&E and community systems to ensure safe discharge planning.
To have knowledge of various co-morbidities to ensure your own and patient’s safety within the A&E environment.
Good IT skills
Member of specialist interest groups (desirable)
