Job details:  Occupational Therapist required to start asap for 3 months rolling contract. Duties include: To carry a varied clinical caseload of care of the elderly patients, varied caseload, Complex MDT discharge planning, Functional / Cognitive Ax Rehabilitation, Complete Access visits and provide equipment. Skills required: Complex discharge planning and complex functional assessment skills. NHS Experience required. JD available on request:

• The Band 6 rotational Occupational Therapy post offers experienced Occupational Therapists the opportunity of gaining advanced clinical skills & knowledge in a variety of acute inpatient clinical settings including care of the elderly, specialist medicine, orthopaedics & surgery and admission avoidance including Frailty. The post holder will provide high quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to a wide variety of patients in liaison with the multidisciplinary team and community partners.
• The job role is primarily Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm (37.5 hours per week). The exception to this is the admission avoidance rotation which covers extended hours of practice on a rota basis 7 days per week. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to the weekend rota.
