Non-Medical Prescriber – Adult ADHD Service
We are seeking Non-Medical Prescribers / ADHD Nurse Practitioners to join the Adult Neurodevelopmental Service at Horizon House (Epsom)

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

Contract: ASAP – 31st March 2026

Rate: £35 per hour
Job purpose:
To practice as a clinical nurse specialist and non-medical prescriber, taking primary responsibility for the prescribing and review of treatments for adults with ADHD, while supporting the wider Neurodevelopmental Service.
Key responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and manage ADHD in adults, including prescribing, titration, and medication review

Manage a caseload and liaise with consultants, GPs, and other services

Conduct screening and risk assessments for referrals

Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to Trust policies
-
Contribute to service development, audits, and clinical governance
-
Participate in ongoing professional development and support NMP governance
Essential requirements:
-
Registered nurse (RMN, RGN, RNLD, or equivalent) with NMC registration
-
Non-Medical Prescriber qualification (Independent or Supplementary)
-
Relevant NHS experience, including ADHD assessment and treatment in adults

Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and leadership skills
-
Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
