This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable practitioner to take on a senior role, providing leadership within the team while managing complex cases to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage complex cases across Child Protection, CIN, and Looked After Children services.

Provide professional leadership and guidance to less experienced social workers within the team.

Undertake high-quality assessments and care planning to ensure timely and effective interventions.

Chair multi-agency meetings where appropriate and contribute to quality assurance processes.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with partner agencies to support best outcomes for children.

Ensure all practice is compliant with legislation, statutory guidance, and Swindon Borough Council’s policies.
