Act on behalf of Bradford Metropolitan District Council to lead on complex adult social care cases, including those involving safeguarding, mental capacity, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).

Provide professional guidance and support to social workers and newly qualified staff, promoting best practice and reflective supervision within the adult services team.

Undertake complex Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews, ensuring that care and support plans are strengths-based, outcome-focused, and responsive to the needs of adults and carers.

Lead on safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act, coordinating multi-agency responses and ensuring robust risk management and protection planning.

Support quality assurance and service development through auditing, mentoring, and contributing to the implementation of policy and practice improvements across the service.

Work in partnership with health professionals, housing, legal services, and voluntary sector organisations to deliver coordinated, person-centred care and uphold the council’s values and statutory duties.
