Manage complex and high-risk adult social care cases, including safeguarding, hospital discharge, mental health, and learning disabilities, in line with the Care Act 2014.

Provide professional leadership, support, and informal supervision to social workers and students, fostering reflective practice and development within the team.

Undertake and oversee strengths-based assessments, support planning, and reviews to ensure person-centred care that promotes independence and wellbeing.

Lead on Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, coordinating multi-agency responses and ensuring effective protection planning for adults at risk.

Apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005, completing capacity assessments and participating in best interest decisions, ensuring legal and ethical compliance.

Contribute to service improvement, quality assurance, and practice development activities to help maintain high standards in adult social care delivery.
