Manage complex and high-risk cases across Bradford Metropolitan District Council’s social care services, ensuring robust risk assessment, planning, and intervention.

Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to social workers and students, promoting reflective practice and maintaining high professional standards.

Complete statutory assessments and develop outcome-focused care or support plans under relevant legislation such as the Children Act 1989 or Care Act 2014, depending on the service area.

Lead on safeguarding enquiries and contribute to multi-agency planning, including child protection conferences, adult safeguarding strategy meetings, and legal proceedings.

Prepare high-quality reports for court, statutory reviews, and case conferences, ensuring evidence-based analysis and clear recommendations.

Participate in audits, service development, and quality assurance processes to drive continuous improvement and uphold best practice.
