Bradford Metropolitan District Council is dedicated to supporting adults to live safe, independent, and fulfilling lives within their communities. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Adults’ Social Worker to join our dynamic Adult Services team. This role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred social work, supporting adults with a range of needs including older people, those with physical disabilities, mental health conditions, or learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Care Act assessments and reviews: Identify eligible needs and co-produce support plans that maximise independence and promote well-being.

Safeguard vulnerable adults: Lead or contribute to safeguarding enquiries in line with statutory duties and ensure timely, proportionate responses.

Work in partnership: Collaborate with families, health professionals, housing teams, and voluntary sector organisations to deliver coordinated care.

Maintain high practice standards: Ensure compliance with legal frameworks, uphold professional ethics, and participate in ongoing supervision and development.
