View JobThe City of Bradford Council is seeking an experienced and committed Locum Qualified Social Worker to join its Child Protection Team. This frontline role is vital in safeguarding children and supporting families through statutory interventions and strength-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans, Child in Need Plans, and/or care proceedings.

Undertake robust assessments under Section 17 and Section 47 of the Children Act 1989.

Develop and implement care plans that promote positive outcomes and ensure child safety.

Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records in line with statutory and local authority requirements.
