Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Adult Inpatient and Community service. This role will focus on providing specialist physiotherapy, including Best Interest Assessments, across acute and general medicine settings, with additional involvement in echocardiography support, to enhance patient recovery and independence.

  • Undertake comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and interventions for adult inpatients and community patients

  • Conduct Best Interest Assessments in line with statutory requirements

  • Deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes within acute and general medicine settings

  • Support echocardiography-related physiotherapy assessments and interventions as required

  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans

  • Support patients and families with guidance, advice, and education to optimise outcomes
