Role Overview
Walsall Council is seeking a Physiotherapist to work across all pathways of Intermediate Care, including reablement, rapid response and rehabilitation beds. This is a varied and rewarding role within a multidisciplinary service supporting individuals to maximise independence and recovery.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention across intermediate care pathways.
- Work with service users within reablement, rapid response and rehab bed look-after services.
- Deliver rehabilitation-focused interventions to support recovery and independence.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to discharge planning and onward care pathways.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
- Some community physiotherapy experience essential.
- Experience working within MDT and rehabilitation settings desirable.
- Postgraduate experience preferred due to the complexity of caseloads.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
