Job details: Qualified and HCP registered Occupational Therapist required. Hybrid working (minimum 2 days in the office). Skills/experience:
· Working with people who have a learning disability / Autism.
· Working with Adults with disabilities.
· Undertaking therapy assessments and support planning.
· Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills – possible experience in using picture communication tools.
· Promoting Independence and supporting people to maximise their independence through, advice, information, rehabilitation, practice of task and provision of aids and adaptations.
· Working in a multidisciplinary team.
· Record keeping and assessment writing.
· Understanding of adult social care and health legislations E.g. Care Act 2014, Manual handling regulations 1992, Health and Safety at Work Act 1947
Can take public transport for role if needed. Not required to be a driver
Working Hours: 37 hours per week. 08.30 – 17.00, with hour and flexibility within that so anywhere between 7.30-6.30.
