Swansea Bay University Health Board is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to support the Inpatient Adult service. This role will focus on delivering high-quality occupational therapy across hand therapy, general medicine, and rehabilitation, providing vital care to patients during their recovery.

  • Carry out specialist assessments and interventions for adult inpatients requiring occupational therapy support

  • Deliver focused hand therapy programmes to aid patient recovery and independence

  • Provide rehabilitation services tailored to individual needs within a general medicine setting

  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient-centred care

  • Support discharge planning by assessing functional abilities and recommending appropriate equipment or adaptations

  • Contribute to service development and share expertise with colleagues and junior staff
