Swansea Bay University Health Board is looking for an experienced Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Adult Inpatient and Community service on a 3-month contract. This role will focus on providing specialist physiotherapy across general medicine and acute care, including Best Interest Assessments, supporting patient recovery and independence.

  • Undertake comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and interventions for adult inpatients and community patients

  • Conduct Best Interest Assessments in line with statutory requirements

  • Deliver rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual needs within acute and general medicine settings

  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans

  • Support patients and families with guidance, advice, and education to optimise outcomes

  • Contribute to service development initiatives and mentor junior staff as required
