Public Health Wales is looking for a qualified and experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Adult Inpatient service. This role will focus on providing specialist assessment and therapy for patients within acute and general medicine, supporting recovery and functional communication.

Undertake comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions for adult inpatients

Deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes to support communication, swallowing, and overall functional recovery

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans

Support patients and families with guidance, advice, and education to optimise outcomes
-
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to meet individual needs

Contribute to service development initiatives and provide guidance to junior staff where required
