Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a qualified and experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join the paediatric acute team. This role provides the opportunity to deliver expert assessment and therapy for children and young people, while leading service development and supporting colleagues within a specialist multidisciplinary environment.

Provide advanced assessment, diagnosis, and management of paediatric speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs in acute settings.

Lead and develop the paediatric speech and language therapy service, promoting evidence-based, child-centred care.

Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team, families, and carers to design and implement safe and effective care pathways.

Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional support to junior therapists, assistants, and students.

Participate in service evaluation, audit, and quality improvement initiatives to drive service excellence.

Engage in continuing professional development, research, and reflective practice to enhance specialist paediatric knowledge and clinical leadership.
