Job details:
3 x Occupational Therapists required to work across three localities (West, Ipswich and North).
The roles are focused on the proactive undertaking of assessments and reviews across the Directorate,
supporting waiting list reduction and improving service efficiency. JD available on request.
- Provide safe and timely delivery of front-line Occupational Therapy services across the Directorate
- Undertake proactive assessments and reviews to support waiting list reduction
- Support triage activity and reduce duplication between health and social care services
- Complete reviews of care packages to ensure best value for Adult Social Care and effective use of equipment
- Review double-handed care packages and waking night packages
- Review and optimise packages of care to promote independence and safety
- Support external care providers to ensure correct and safe moving and handling practices
- Provide mutual aid and support to other Occupational Therapy teams as required
- Deliver timely Occupational Therapy assessments and reviews in line with service priorities
Working pattern:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.30
- Hybrid working: 2–3 days office-based, 2 days working from home
