Stoke-on-Trent City Council is committed to supporting children and families through early intervention and targeted support. We are looking for a dedicated Child in Need Social Worker to join our team, working with children and families who require additional support to ensure safety, stability, and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess and support children and families: Conduct thorough Child in Need assessments and develop tailored intervention plans to address identified needs.

Work collaboratively: Engage with families and multi-agency partners including health, education, and community services to deliver coordinated support.

Monitor progress: Regularly review and adjust plans, ensuring that the child’s welfare remains central to all interventions.

Maintain accurate records: Document all assessments, plans, and case activities in line with statutory guidance and council policies.
