Bath and North East Somerset Council is looking for a committed and experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Need (CIN) team. In this vital role, you will work directly with children and families to assess needs, manage risk, and promote safety and well-being. Key Responsibilities:

Undertake assessments and deliver support plans for children identified as in need under Section 17 of the Children Act.

Work closely with families to implement and review CIN plans, ensuring a child-centred, strengths-based approach.

Collaborate with multi-agency partners, including schools, health services, and police, to deliver integrated support.

Maintain accurate, timely case records, and prepare reports for child protection conferences, legal proceedings, or review meetings as required.
