  3. Advocacy: Acting as an advocate for the child, ensuring their views and wishes are considered in all decisions affecting them 
    Monitoring Progress: Monitoring the progress of the care plan and the child’s situation, intervening if there are concerns about the quality of care or if the plan is not being followed 

  4. Quality Assurance: Providing quality assurance by ensuring that the local authority is fulfilling its responsibilities towards the child
