As a Physiotherapist with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, working at Band 6 in an inpatient acute setting, you will provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation to adult patients within general medicine. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will develop and deliver personalised treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery, mobility and independence.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
Develop, implement and review individualised physiotherapy treatment programmes in line with best practice.
Work closely with patients, families and healthcare professionals to support recovery and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
Provide education and advice to patients and carers on rehabilitation techniques and self-management.
Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives within the physiotherapy team.
