Job details: Occupational Therapist required to start ASAP. JD available on request.

- Promote strength-based practice and positive change in people’s lives using occupational therapy methods, models and tools to support independence, health and wellbeing
- Provide an Occupational Therapy service to physically disabled people and those with complex and multiple disabilities, including individuals with mental health conditions
- Work as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team
- Make professional judgements within relevant legal and policy frameworks
- Carry out Occupational Therapy assessments and plan interventions using a full range of available resources to maximise independence
- Prevent or delay the development of care and support needs and reduce existing needs where possible
- Apply specialist Occupational Therapy knowledge to deliver cost-effective and efficient assessment, intervention and long-term support
Skills/experience:

- Minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience as an Occupational Therapist
Working hours: 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.30.
