View JobOxfordshire County Council is seeking a committed and experienced Social Worker to join the Adult Safeguarding Team. This role is central to protecting adults at risk from abuse and neglect, working within the Care Act 2014 framework. The successful candidate will undertake safeguarding enquiries, assess risks, and coordinate multi-agency responses to ensure vulnerable adults are safe and supported.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014.

Carry out risk assessments and develop protection plans in partnership with adults, carers, and professionals.

Provide expert advice to frontline teams and partner agencies on safeguarding practice and procedures.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding audits, panels, and reviews in line with Oxfordshire’s policies and statutory duties.
