Norfolk County Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join the hospital pharmacy team. This role provides the opportunity to support medicines management and distribution, with a focus on oncology, while collaborating with pharmacy technicians and the wider clinical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

  • Review, dispense, and manage medicines for oncology patients in hospital settings.

  • Provide clinical advice and guidance to healthcare professionals regarding safe and effective use of medicines.

  • Support pharmacy technicians and junior staff in daily operations and workflow management.

  • Participate in medicines optimisation initiatives to improve patient outcomes and service efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance standards in all pharmacy activities.

  • Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
