As an Occupational Therapist with Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust, you will provide specialist assessment and intervention to individuals with mental health needs in a community setting. Working collaboratively with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams, you will promote independence, recovery and participation in meaningful activities, enabling individuals to achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.

  • Undertake holistic assessments to identify occupational needs and functional abilities in relation to mental health.

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-based interventions to support recovery and independence in the community.

  • Work in partnership with service users, carers, health professionals and community organisations to coordinate care.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NHS and professional standards.

  • Provide advice, support and education to individuals, families and colleagues on promoting occupational engagement.

  • Contribute to service development initiatives and continuous improvement of community mental health services.
