Sefton Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality support and safeguarding services to children and families within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Handle complex cases involving children in need, child protection, and looked after children, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
- Support and Guidance: Provide professional advice and support to service users, helping them navigate challenges and improve their quality of life
- Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and integrated care
- Safeguarding: Undertake safeguarding enquiries in line with current legislation and procedures, ensuring the safety and protection of vulnerable children
