Lincolnshire County Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Social Worker to join our Children’s Services team. This leadership role offers the chance to support and guide social workers while managing complex cases to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a caseload of complex child protection and child in need cases, providing high-quality assessments and interventions.

  • Support, supervise, and mentor junior social workers and promote professional development within the team.

  • Collaborate with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective safeguarding plans.

  • Prepare detailed reports and contribute to child protection conferences, reviews, and court proceedings.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory guidance, local policies, and best practice standards.
