This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality occupational therapy for adults in acute settings, supporting recovery, independence, and rehabilitation within a specialist multidisciplinary environment.

Provide advanced occupational therapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for adults with complex needs in acute inpatient care.

Lead and develop the occupational therapy service, ensuring delivery of evidence-based, person-centred care.

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to design and implement safe and effective care pathways.

Offer clinical supervision, leadership, and mentorship to junior occupational therapists, assistants, and students.

Contribute to service evaluation, audit, and quality improvement to support innovation and maintain high professional standards.

Engage in ongoing professional development, research, and reflective practice to enhance specialist knowledge and clinical leadership.
