Provide professional supervision and mentorship to junior social workers and support staff, promoting development and reflective practice.

Conduct thorough assessments of children and families under statutory frameworks (e.g., Section 17 and Section 47 of the Children Act 1989).

Collaborate effectively with multi-agency teams, including health, education, and police, to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.

Develop and implement care plans tailored to each child’s needs, monitoring progress and outcomes to inform decision-making.

Contribute to service improvement initiatives by sharing expertise, participating in audits, and supporting policy and practice development.
