View JobAs a Speech and Language Therapist specialising in physiotherapy-related interventions with Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust, working at Band 7 within inpatient acute settings, you will provide specialist assessment and treatment to adult patients in general medicine. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will deliver tailored therapy focused on rehabilitation needs typically addressed by physiotherapy.

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical rehabilitation requirements.

Develop, implement and review individualised therapy programmes targeting physiotherapy-related goals.

Work closely with patients, families and healthcare professionals to support recovery and discharge planning.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS and professional standards.

Provide education, advice and support to patients and carers regarding rehabilitation strategies.

Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives within the therapy team.
