Biomedical Scientist (Band 5/6) – Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells
Contract: Temporary (6+ months)
Hourly Pay: £26 per hour (negotiable)
We are seeking four skilled BMS professionals with expertise in Histology. Candidates must have microtomy skills and meet a cutting rate of 35 blocks per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-standard microtomy for histological analysis.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure quality control.
- Adhere to NHS and UKAS standards for diagnostics.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
- Proven histology and microtomy experience.
- Excellent precision and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
