Role Overview
An experienced Band 6/7 Speech and Language Therapist is required to start ASAP, providing adult SLT services across clinic and community settings. The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours and a varied adult caseload.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage an adult SLT caseload including dysphagia, communication, voice and stammering.
- Assess and treat patients in clinic settings and during home visits.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop appropriate management plans.
- Independently manage a dysphagia caseload.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
- Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree (or equivalent).
- HCPC registration and licence to practise.
- Experience managing acquired dysphagia and communication caseloads at Band 6/7 level.
- Completion of RCSLT Newly Qualified SLT competencies.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own car (essential).
Working Hours
Full time or part time
Monday to Friday, operational hours between 08.00 – 17.00
