We are currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician to join an NHS service in Epsom. This is a temporary contract with a duration of 3 to 6 months. The role offers a competitive hourly rate, dependent on your level of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
- Provide advice and support to patients on their medication, usage, and side effects.
- Ensure medicines are stored correctly and safely in accordance with relevant guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to the ongoing development of pharmacy services.
Requirements:
- GPhC Registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience in NHS pharmacy services is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively in a busy pharmacy environment.
