Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist to work remotely for an NHS service, providing expert pharmaceutical support to clinical teams. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist, particularly with expertise in cancer services, to contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care within the NHS.
 
 
Essential Requirements:
 

  • Cancer service experience is essential; candidates without this experience will unfortunately not be considered.
  • Relevant experience with SCAT Scripts is required.
  • A BOPA SACT Passport is mandatory for this position.
  • Previous experience in a clinical pharmacist role within an NHS setting is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols, oncology treatment pathways, and medication management in cancer care.

 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and support to multidisciplinary clinical teams within the NHS.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation, dispensing, and supply of medications for cancer patients.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of medications within the cancer services environment.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clinicians, offering guidance and consultation on pharmaceutical-related issues.
