Job Title: Physiotherapist – Band 6
Location: Guys and St Thomas’s
Area: South East London NHS

Contract Length: Ongoing
Job Details: Physiotherapist required to start ASAP for the Urgent Community Response Service. This is a fast-paced community role supporting hospital avoidance and safe discharge.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 12–15 patients
- Conduct a minimum of 10 patient visits per week
- Deliver therapy interventions to support independence and recovery
- Undertake joint visits with Occupational Therapists for equipment ordering, reviews and assessments
- Review and modify packages of care as required
- Provide supervision to Rehabilitation Support Workers (RSWs)
- Supervise Physiotherapy students
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Previous community physiotherapy experience
Working Hours: 7-day service. 09:00 – 17:00 with occasional on-call (approximately every 3 weeks).
