This role involves assisting occupational therapists with patient care, including supporting Best Interest Assessments (BIA), promoting independence, and ensuring safe, patient-centred interventions.

Assist with occupational therapy assessments and interventions under the guidance of qualified therapists.

Support patients with daily living activities, mobility, and functional rehabilitation in inpatient acute settings.

Contribute to Best Interest Assessments (BIA), ensuring patient-centred and ethical decision-making.

Help implement equipment provision and adaptations to support safe discharge and independence.

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care.
