We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Social Worker to join our Child Protection Team. This role involves managing complex cases, conducting child protection investigations, and delivering focused interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake statutory child protection work: Manage a caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans, Child in Need Plans, and pre-proceedings under the Public Law Outline.

Complete timely assessments: Carry out Section 47 investigations and Child & Family Assessments in line with statutory timescales and best practice.

Prepare and present reports: Write high-quality court statements and attend legal proceedings when necessary.

Collaborate effectively with partner agencies: Work alongside health, education, police, and early help services to safeguard children through multi-agency working.
